The company that owns McDonald’s chain of restaurants announced that it is negotiating with the owners of the real estate in which restaurants in Britain are best suited to reduce the rent paid by the chain that suffers from the economic consequences of the Corona virus.
In June, the company will have to pay the rent for its store in the country for the next three months.
The company said that because of the current unprecedented situation, it is in talks with real estate owners “about how they can lend support with regard to rent”.
The chain of American restaurants of origin has closed all its branches in the country due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
A number of other restaurant chains, such as Berger King, had defaulted on the rent that their restaurants owed in March.
