Spain has recorded the lowest daily death rate due to the Corona virus, since the country announced the comprehensive closure to stop the spread of the virus in mid-March, when the last 24 hours saw 164 people die.
It was also revealed that less than a thousand new cases of the virus were recorded, representing the lowest daily outcome of infections once in a long time, despite the high rates of testing.
Experts have described the numbers as positive, although they warn that weekend numbers are sometimes less often.
Spain has gradually eased restrictions on movement caused by the Coruna virus.
From Monday, a group of islands will be the first to enter a transitional phase that the government hopes will pave the way for a “new normal” in the country.
